Watercolor is such a wonderful medium. Due to the transparency of the paint and the bright white of the paper, results can be very vibrant. Since watercolor paints are transparent there is little room for error; you can't cover up a mistake like you can with oils or acrylics. So care must be taken or a painting can be quickly ruined. I find painting to be very relaxing and a nice way to "escape" from everything for a while.
