So, my washing maching is broken, still under waranty but broken. The repair man came out a week and a half ago to tell me, of course, that the part I need has to be "special ordered" (dont they all!) and it may take up to a week to get it fixed. Well, its been more than a week, and this is really making me insane. I have laundry everywhere and Im sick of going to the laundry mat and friends houses to do cloths! In fact, I am gathering work and school cloths at this moment to go take to a friends house and wash so my kids can go to school and hubby can go to work in clean cloths! Man, I take it for granted when the darn thing works! I just dont understand what in the sam heck is takin so long!

So, it's superbowl sunday, like I care- none of the teams I like are playing. My boys, (NY Giants) got ex'd out- so bleh! But I did make corned beef and cabage. Yummy.

Well, I guess I should go and get my laundry done, I really hate that I have to leave my house to clean the cloths when I have a washer and dryer here!

So, as of monday- I am  back on Weight Watchers. I dont know why I quit, the program really does work, it just takes discipline.

Other than that, things are ok. I cant wait to get a medicare plan though. I have NO insurance right now, and that means, no doc visits and paying for all my meds out of pocket- I dont think I even have to go there with most of you on the costs of that,,,,ugh

So, its been a stragne week. My uncle passed away last thursday, then I got an email on saturday that told me 3 support group members from NM have passed away since November. I am very sad about all of this, and sadly, becoming numb to it. I have had so many deaths during my life, its hard to break down anymore.

On a good note, I had my first weigh in since rejoinging weight watchers on monday- I lost 9 pounds! I am so excited. Im definitly sticking with it this time, Im tired of this extra bagage!

So, after almost 2 years, I am going home to New Mexico for 8 days. Im gonna help my mom finish the house things so she can get it up for sale. My youngest is going with me, It's going to be soooo weird to not be with my oldest and my husband, and my doggies!

Still doing Weight Watchers, and doing good, lost 12.6 since feb 6. Slow and steady wins the race.

I had my weigh in today, another 3 pounds down! Woohoo! Just 64 more to go to goal, geeeez!

Im getting anxious about my NM trip, I hate to fly, its just soooo boring!

My oldest son has his band concert tonight and I stayed home, hubby took him, I feel so bad cause I never miss them but I am just not feeling that great today. He understands.

Well, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, not too much on my mind right now.

I get a kick out of this pic, lol- bet he feels like a jack now, wait, you have to have brain cells to have a thought, nevermind.

Water Water Everywhere

So I went to the doctor today, my ankles have disapeered and my stomach was HUGE~so they upped my dosage of lasix and potassium. I feel like the girl on willy wonka, the one that turns into a blueberry! So, I am feeling sore and tender and weak.

I hired a personal trainer~I need to get my weight under control, to weigh what I do is just bull! I need to go on more walks and change my food. And....hopefully this summer things can get better and I will feel better.

I know its been a long time since I wrote in~its been a crazy few months~my husband had back surgery and this and that, gimmie a break!

Band on Trading Spouses to play my party!

So, I am the chapter leader of a group called the Horror Drunx in my area-its just a bunch of folks that LOVE horror movies and to have a few cocktails~so anyway, a few weeks ago on Trading Spouses there was a punk band from Portland on the show that traded with a family from Boston.

Anyway~I am having a gig on June 2 and I emailed them and asked them if they would be intersted in playing and they are stoked and im stoked! I have four bands lined up and its such a great way to kick off summer~we are so excited! Some great punk music to rock out to.

And, its going to be 10 days before my 35th birthday~ Wow, I don't think Im ever gonna be a grown up at heart. I mean, im responsible and I pay my bills and do all that, but I really am a kid at heart.

I just really like to focus on having fun~we all know life can be really short and Im tired of just sitting around on my arse~time to get busy living!

Oh, and by the way, the band is called The Shiny Things, they are some of the coolest people I have ever met~honestly.

Today was pretty, and warm and the flowers are blooming and im so happy spring is coming and winter is OVER!So, Monday is going to be my first day with my new personal trainer, lets see how that goes, ugh.....I also have another band booked for the show, so five total!The one thing that did bum me out was I was sharing with a friend about this party/gig that I have planned and I just kind of felt that she was pooping on it. They used to live here and moved back to their home state, so I don't know if they just have a bad taste in their mouth or what, but I was pretty bummed that they were not more supportive of it.But, I don't really care~this is going to be fun and the bands are super excited about it, and so am I~so who cares! Woohoo!

The Sanjaya Situation

Ok Ok, I know we have all heard all this before. Im just really confused.....and then again not. I know they have to websites out there to promote voting for the worst, but honestly~I really think that India is really backing him as well~I just find this season so odd and a bit creepy. Im very disapointed in the show as a whole-I thought the girl, what was her name~Antonella, should of been told to leave immediatly, when Frenchie was found out, she got totaled in the press and was forced off the show~but yet the one girl who is "thinner and more appealing to the eye" gets to stay.

Sanjaya, ugh, he reminds me of the chicken little one from last season, just really irritating~Im just ready for this show to be cancelled, Paula is always drunk and the talent just gets worse and worse. Bleh

Sanjaya is always sticking out his bottom lip and always looks like he is in total shock when he finds out he gets to stay, it really is time for him to go.......

Boys and Girls, can you say "irritated"? I can

DOOD! I am so bugged! I was on hold with directv for 45 minutes to cancel my service because it bites, and then when someone comes to the phone, they transfer me, on hold for another 30 min, then the dude gets on the line to ask me some questions then oops! He hangs up on me!

Now I am on hold again, if these fools think that I am going to pay a canelation fee, they are messing with the wrong pissed off gal!

My Directv Saga

So, I have had directv for a few years, and never before has this ever come up~
In october we got a new television that is HD, so~we decided to upgrade to the HD DVR reciever~which cost us $300.00. Little did I know, until today, we dont own this reciever. Now, NOT ONE PERSON told this to us at the time of sale, apparently, it's $300.00 to have a guy bring it over and plug it in and the rest is a "leaseing cost". So, I tried to cancel, as we have had NOTHING but issues with this reciever and have had it replaced once already, had tech support on the phone countless times and techs over at the house, but they want me to give them the $300 reciever plus $270 on top of that. I cannot understand how they can run a business this way. I called comcast and they only charge $14.95 for the same damn thing! And, make it very apparent to you that this is a LEASE not a purchase. Directv is no longer allowing anyone to keep any recievers, so this is a way for them to trap you, so even when your contract is over~you have to give back all of the equipment you were under the impression that you purchased it. I went online and tried to find it anywhere on the website that its a lease and not a purchase and I couldnt find it anywhere. How can they do this to people? SO, I am stuck with them, and I hate it!!!!!

Creepy Today

Have you ever had one of those days where your own skin feels foreign to you? I have been full of anxiety today and just straight up feeling weird. Im pulling at my pants and bra straps and hair and ugh, I feel icky and strange.

Don't really have anything else to add to that.
